Glenluce is a large rural village in South West Scotland situated some 12 miles to the west of Newton Stewart and 10 miles east of the busy Ferry Port at Stranraer.
Glenluce is an excellent base for tourists visiting the area as it is in the heart of Wigtownshire. It is also close to Stairhaven beach on Luce Bay. There are many interesting attractions including good golf courses, coastal walks etc.
Road links to Glenluce are excellent with the A75 bringing in tourists from the west and south and the A77 Stranraer coastal road connecting to the north of Scotland. The ferry terminals of Stranraer and Cairnryan also attracts many visitors to Glenluce from both Northern and Southern Ireland, an increasing market for the Galloway area
